Alejandra alfaro

Passionate about visual storytelling, I studied Production Design for Film and TV in Mexico City and broadened my knowledge with professional studies and experience of Interior Design, Professional Makeup and Fashion Design, to better understand how to work and communicate with each Art Department.

For me, Production Design is not just about "making a room look pretty", it's about using relevant symbols throughout the decoration, add the backstory of a character to a place and help communicate a feeling through color and texture. Every single detail in Design counts and nothing in my work is left there by chance.

​

During my professional experience, I've worked closely not only with all the Art Departments, but with the Direction, Photography, Production and Scouting teams. My studies in Communications, Film and Marketing allow me to understand every department's needs and how to collaborate with each other for the sake of a product well made.
